Not working. Getting a pop up – “The application cannot be opened”??
Hola, it’s not working! Showing it can’t be opened. Can you please help or check?
Please send a screenshot of the error.
I am not getting any option to transfer the game to the applications folder in the setup itself that we usually get so I’m directly dragging and putting it in my application folder. After that, when I am trying to run it. It’s shows the following error, shown in the attached image. M1 chip btw. Thank you for looking into this.
Did you try this: https://haxmac.cc/how-can-i-fix-damaged-app-message-on-macos-mojave/
Yeah, though I can always right click on the app in the applications folder and then it doesn’t show the error shown in the damaged app link that you have provided. This error is completely different. Is it working for you, if I may ask?
You should try https://haxmac.cc/how-to-disable-system-integrity-protection-in-macos/
This happens because the application doesn’t have execution permissions.
To make the application executable:
cd
command, navigate to the place where the application is stored:cd <path_to_application>
chmod +x <application_file>
to make it executable. If it doesn’t let you, sudo it:sudo chmod +x <application>
.The command from point 3 should look similar to this (thanks to @CJK):

Unfortunately didn’t work. It was already an unix executable file. Sheesh. Is there anyway for you to check if it’s working?
